Schmitz Cargobull was named a "Best of New Transportation" winner in this year's ETM Award 2026 poll conducted by ETM Verlag.
The company, which produces trailers, transport refrigeration units, telematics systems, and transport solutions, was recognized in eight categories: refrigerated box trailers, refrigeration units, telematics, container chassis, curtainsiders, lightweight trailers, swap body trailers, and "Future of Logistics."
Among the recognized products were the S.KO refrigerated box trailers, which were honored for their insulation performance, energy efficiency, and intelligent control systems for temperature-controlled transport. The company's S.CU transport refrigeration units also received recognition for efficient, low-emission cooling and integration with refrigerated trailers.
Also recognized were Schmitz Cargobull's TrailerConnect telematics platform, which provides supply chain visibility and supports digital transport management. Together, the company's refrigerated trailers, refrigeration units, and telematics systems support connected cold chain operations.
Additional awards were presented for the company's container chassis, S.CS curtainsider semi-trailers, BERGERecotrail lightweight trailer, and swap body trailer solutions. The BERGERecotrail was recognized for its optimized weight, which supports higher payload capacity while reducing fuel consumption.
