Sunswap has opened a new Technology Center to support the next phase of its electric transport refrigeration business. The company, which manufactures electric transport refrigeration systems, welcomed fleet operators, industry partners, and government officials to the facility for an open day focused on the future of cold chain technology.

The new Technology Center is four times the size of Sunswap's previous premises and was built to support a business that has grown roughly 200-fold since its founding in 2020.

During the event, Sunswap shared updates on the future development of its Endurance electric transport refrigeration unit and provided an early look at next-generation refrigeration technology under development. The company also outlined plans for its aftermarket services, including capabilities designed to identify potential issues before they become equipment failures and help reduce fleet downtime.

“We've grown around 200 times since we started Sunswap,” Michael Lower, CEO of Sunswap, said. “This Technology Center gives us the room to build at the scale the industry now expects from us and to keep pushing Endurance further.”
