The American Trucking Assns. (ATA) has announced its endorsement of EBE Technologies’ CSA 2010 dashboard for fleet management of CSA 2010 regulations. The dashboard monitors and retrieves carrier- and driver-related inspection data from FMCSA’s Compass portal.

The information is accumulated daily, providing near real-time visibility in driver behavior. The web-based tool offers both carrier and driver percentiles and measures and the ability to target specific areas. Information is displayed by summary or detail views with search capabilities by several criteria, including inspection category, driver ID, division, fleet manager, points and percentiles.

Trend analysis is also available by category, measure, percentile, points and time period with email alerts.

“Carriers using this solution have found it to be an effective way to sift through the overwhelming amounts of data, target in on isolated and patterned behavior, and respond immediately,” said Cindy Nelson, EBE’s vice president of marketing and business development.

“A carrier’s score is reflective of the collective results of its individual drivers,” she continued, “ If you can identify and correct unsafe behavior before it becomes a pattern or causes a serious safety incident, then the carrier’s scores and rankings should be reflective of that. ATA’s endorsement of this solution helps us provide a broader outreach to the industry in an effort to support the industry’s commitment to improved safety.”

ATA’s endorsement includes the potential for a 10% discount on the dashboard. Visit http://www.atabusinesssolutions.com/t-EBEdashboard.aspx for more information.
