A new “virtual cross-dock” functionality has been added to Courier Perform, creating more visibility into the delivery process for couriers. Courier Perform, offered by mobile software provider Airclic, provides visibility and order tracking capabilities down to the item level.
The new virtual cross-dock capability will monitor truck-to-truck transfers, further reducing delivery time and material handling costs as well as decreasing warehouse storage space, Airclic said.
The upgraded product is available immediately to all current Courier Perform customers.
Courier Perform offers 360-deg. visibility, data-driven decision making, high accuracy rates, enhanced transparency for customers, an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, and ongoing training and support, noted the company.
The software also provides real-time, electronic proof-of-compliance with service-level agreements.
