Routing moves to EasyStreet

The next-generation mileage software from Prophesy Transportation Solutions offers optimized routing, on-demand directions, truck restrictions, toll avoidance, advanced geocoding and street level mapping.

It also includes an online database of road conditions that is updated in near real-time, according to the company.

Called Prophesy EastStreet, the new package was designed in collaboration with Maptuit Corp., which provided commercial route detail for nearly all city streets in the U.S., Prophesy says.

The product's online database includes information for minimizing turns, 53-ft. trailer restrictions, and height and weight restrictions. Updates are based on feedback from 70,000 truck drivers currently using the system as well as other sources, according to the company.
