Motor carriers can now see how their CSA 2010 scores rank with the safety scores of other carriers similar in size and operation by using a new benchmark scorecard produced by Vigillo. The scorecard is being offered free of charge to Vigillo customers who use the CSA Carrier & Driver Scorecard.
“Our new CSA Benchmark Scorecards answer one of the questions asked most frequently by fleets,” said Steve Bryan, CEO. “They want to know how their safety scores compare to other carriers so we developed our new scorecards to provide them with the answer.
“As the official release date of CSA draws near, Vigillo is in a unique position to provide this type of service to our customers,” he added. “With over 1,800 fleets and 600,000 drivers, this new benchmarking tool will again set the standard for CSA data analysis in the industry.”
The benchmark scorecard gives carriers access to summary data from the Vigillo customer database and allow them to compare their operations to select groups of carriers without divulging customer specific information.
There are more than 45 specific measures for comparison, including measures across BASICs, points by driver, points by power unit, points per inspection, violation categories, and geographic.
