• Comdata rolls out new fuel site device

    Aug. 28, 2013

A new web-enabled site controller known as SmartSight is being introduced by Comdata to help petroleum marketers and oil distributors improve management and security of unattended fueling locations.

Developed in conjunction with eFueling, Comdata said SmartSight is a device that provides detailed, real-time insight into fuel site activity with high-speed internet connectivity to allow site managers to access fuel pump data on-demand.

The unit’s web portal component also provides the ability to monitor transactions and site status, as well as the option to receive email notifications of potential fraud and other issue, noted Randy Morgan, Comdata’s executive VP.

“SmartSight’s updated technology provides an enhanced platform to access and manage the data and reporting tools our merchant customers need to operate a successful unattended fuel site,” he added. “It’s a card-lock product that better meets our customers’ needs.”
