Oct. 13, 2014

Tom Rushfeldt has been named senior vice president of Vusion. Vusion is a division of PeopleNet and a Trimble company.

Rushfeldt will be responsible for the operational management of Vusion, which includes oversight of Vusion’s “software-as- service” product delivery.

“Tom Rushfeldt is a lauded transportation and trucking veteran,” said Thomas Fansler, president of Vusion. “With over 30 years of experience, Tom’s established track record for prosperous entrepreneurship makes him a seamless fit for Trimble’s growing Vusion division. We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Tom onto the team.”

According to the company, Rushfeldt has successfully built industry leading providers of fuel purchase programs and fuel tax services from the ground up as co-founder and partner of Archco Inc. and again as founder and principal of Inter-Tax, Inc. before serving as senior vice president of Comdata’s Regulatory Compliance Division. He also served as CFO of truckload carrier Dart Transit.

Vusion uses GPS, fuel, ECM, and dispatch data to automate fuel tax reporting.
