Following a launch of the subscription-based JPRO Professional software early this year, Noregon has released an updated version of its diagnostic software. Based on customer feedback and industry need, Noregon has added new features to increase the diagnostic capabilities and repair features of its popular software.

Available in a subscription based bundle, JPRO Professional with Next Step allows users to read and diagnose an entire truck in one pass, in under one minute, from one screen by providing technicians over 44,000 OE level fault codes and detailed repair information, according to the company.

According to the company, JPRO users were looking for additional features such as fuel injector calibration and increased bi-directional capabilities and Noregon met that demand in the latest version of their software. “We always strive to keep the customer in mind when making enhancements to JPRO” said Shane Gilliam, Noregon’s Senior Director of Aftermarket Sales. “We listened to feedback from our customers to determine what features were needed in the market, as well as using statistical data to find the most common repair needs.”

“Technicians want to spend their time repairing vehicles, not sifting through multiple screens trying to determine what is wrong with the vehicle” said Jason Hedman, JPRO product manager. “Service professionals often note their increased efficiency by being able to see the entire vehicle on one screen, with just this one piece of software. We decided to build upon that idea in this newest release by adding and improving features such as FMI assistance, which makes it easier for users to find and understand FMI definitions.”

“We put a lot of energy and resources into improving our coverage of emissions fault support,” Gilliam concluded. “With JPRO offering coverage for all major brands, we now provide users with the ability to read and clear HDOBD and emission faults. We’re certain this increased functionality will speed up the technician’s job while remaining compliant with all emissions regulations.”
