CarriersEdge launches comprehensive air brake training for commercial drivers and fleet technicians

CarriersEdge recently released a new series of online courses on air brakes for the trucking industry, based on Techni-Com’s Practical Air Brakes, with content from the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA). The program includes eight interactive modules covering all subsystems, inspections, operational tests, and S-cam brake adjustment, totaling 156 minutes of training.

“Techni-Com’s content is second to none and well established as the industry standard,” Jane Jazrawy, CEO of CarriersEdge, said. “With the addition of the material from CVSA, there’s no other online course on the market with this depth of content. We’ve even created an interactive, virtual brake board that allows participants to see all the working parts of an air brake system and how they interact.”

The program also features baseline tests for each module and Put it into Practice (PiiP) exercises for hands-on reinforcement. It is currently available in English, with French and Spanish versions coming soon.
