The Everest E5000 and E4000 vehicle-mount computers from Glacier Computer are now fully compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system

The Everest E5000 and E4000 vehicle-mount computers from Glacier Computer are now fully compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.

The computers offer fixed vehicle mounting for operation in harsh environments such as warehouses, supply chain, shop floors or heavy equipment operation. Both offer 10-, 12-, or 15-in. screens as well as multiple processor options. Operating system choices include Windows XP/Pro, XP/E, Vista, Linuz and Windows 7.

The Everest series, which also includes the Windows CE E2000, include custom onboard diagnostic and configuration utility as well as programmable function buttons. Additional features include multiple standard I/O, USB 2.0, internal one-hour smart UPS and multiple expansion slots. The Everest series offers 802.11a/b/g LAN, WAN, Bluetooth and GPS options
