Commercial vehicle exhaust product manufacturer Nelson Global Products has acquired Morton Industries LLC and Bradley Services Inc. (BSI).

Morton produces tooling and fixturing as well as machining services for tubular fabrication, sub-assembly and assembly. BSI manufactures a variety of exhaust products and tubing for on- and off-highway applications.

The two companies are headquartered in Morton, IL, and headed by president Chris Ober. Ober and his management team will remain in place, according to a spokesperson for Nelson. Seven hundred people employed by Morton and BSI will also retain their positions, the company reported.

“This acquisition is a very exciting opportunity for us,” said Nelson CEO Tom Gosnell. “It is central to our growth strategy and provides a significant opportunity for us to expand our service, our product offerings, our capacity, and our global reach to meet the expectations of our growing number of customers.”
