The Odyssey 65-PC1750 battery combines deep cycling capability for quick charges with high cranking power, according to EnerSys (www.enersys.com). The 12V drycell is a direct replacement for Group 65 batteries in either heavy-duty or automotive applications.

With a 930 CCA (cold cranking amp) rating, the new battery can provide up to five seconds of cranking power, two to three times as long as conventional batteries, the company says. It has a deep-cycle capability of 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and offers 140 minutes of reserve capacity.

Other features include a 12-yr. design life, high-vibration and corrosion resistance, and a four-yr. free replacement warranty.
