Love’s opens Florida travel stop to increase truck parking capacity

Love’s Travel Stops recently opened a new travel stop in Gretna, Florida, and completed renovation projects at locations in Oklahoma and Illinois.
The company, which operates travel stops and convenience locations for truck drivers, RVers, and motorists, said the new Gretna location adds 121 truck parking spaces and fueling capacity along Interstate 10. The travel stop is located at 265 Opportunity Way and is Love’s 23rd location in Florida.
The Gretna location is designed to support drivers traveling through the Florida Panhandle and includes space allocated for future EV charging infrastructure. Love’s said it has added 991 truck parking spaces nationwide so far in 2026.
In addition to the Florida opening, Love’s recently completed renovations at its country store in Elk City, Oklahoma, and its travel stop in Roscoe, Illinois. The updates included remodeled sales floors, renovated restrooms, and changes intended to improve traffic flow. The company said it has completed updates at 18 locations and opened 10 new stores in 2026.
Love’s also made donations to organizations in the communities where the projects took place, including schools in Gretna, Florida; the Oklahoma Health Foundation; the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago; and Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
