Technology takes Spicer Transmission Division of Dana Corp. announced that its 9- and 10-speed transmissions equipped with the Optilube system can now be spec'd without an oil cooler on all powertrain combinations with a torque capacity of less than 1,650 lb.-ft. The announcement covers Spicer AutoMate-2, Pro-Shift, Spicer Lite I, Spicer Lite II, and 10-V transmissions.
