Hino Diesel Trucks (USA) has announced details of its 2002 lineup of Class 4-7 cabovers. Reviewing the enhancements, Ted Fick, senior vp, said the Class 4 FA model can now be ordered with wheelbases from 115 to 165 in., accommodating 12- to 18-ft. bodies. Hino Diesel Trucks (USA) has announced details of its 2002 lineup of Class 4-7 cabovers. Reviewing the enhancements, Ted Fick, senior vp, said the Class 4 FA model can now be ordered with wheelbases from 115 to 165 in., accommodating 12- to 18-ft. bodies.

Other product news he highlighted include availability of Allison automatic transmissions on Class 4 and 5 models; high-capacity, 105-amp low-maintenance, brushless alternators across the product line; and a high-mount fan on the Class 6 FD model that boosts cooling capability while keeping noise down.

The complete Hino line consists of the Class 4 FA4J, Class 5 FB4J, Class 6 FD2J and FE2J, and the Class 7 FF2J and SG2J series.
