Peregrine adds web-based maintenance software

Offering Internet and intranet access to vehicle maintenance data, FleetAnywhere Weblications gives off-site service locations access to real-time vehicle, parts inventory and billing information. The new web-based application is designed to quickly extend Peregrine Systems’ FleetAnywhere maintenance system to remote shops. The first fleet to employ the new application -- Florida Power & Light Co.

The new web-based application is designed to quickly extend Peregrine Systems’ FleetAnywhere maintenance system to remote shops. The first fleet to employ the new application -- Florida Power & Light Co. -- will use it to tie together 19 shops as well as 21 mobile mechanics who use hand-held devices to enter data.

Peregrine ( www.peregrine.com) also offers a subscription ASP (application service provider) version of its entire maintenance system, which is delivered via the Internet.
