Carlisle Motion Control Industries, Inc. is launching a line of new OE heavy-duty brake shoes featuring induction-hardened cam and anchor ends to prevent mushrooming and improve durability. The new line will complement its Altec Brake Systems division line of remanufactured brake shoes.

Carlisle said its new shoes will have its paint more uniformly and completely bonded to the steel for enhanced environmental resistance and coined after welding to prevent distortion and deformation during the welding process.
