Eaton Corp. has introduced a new replacement clutch designed to work with low- to mid-level torque engines. The Roadranger ValueClutch replaces the Eaton Fuller remanufactured cast angle spring clutch line.
While the ValueClutch was developed as a base level clutch, notes Jeff Thompson, Eaton Truck Aftermarket Div., “it carries the same Eaton warranty, along with field and technical support. And because there is no core charge, customers get a brand new product for a comparable price to our old remanufactured version.”
The ValueClutch is said to offer good performance with constant plate load, maximum cover ventilation, isolated pressure springs and internal adjustment. It is available in 11 new part numbers and is being distributed through normal PDC and factory-direct channels.
