Frame clinic for techies

The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists, (ACOFAS) is offering a new technician training clinic focusing on truck and trailer chassis frame straightening techniques this September in Akron, OH

The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists, (ACOFAS) is offering a new technician training clinic focusing on truck and trailer chassis frame straightening techniques this September in Akron, OH.

The two-day clinic will start by covering:

  • safety procedures for working on frame straightening equipment
  • proper worker gear (shoes, gloves, eye protection, helmet, etc.)
  • what the limitations of the equipment are
  • terminology of experienced technicians.

    The rest of the clinic will be spent in the shop with technicians being placed into groups according to levels of expertise, ACOFAS said.
