Michelle Potter is the new president for Con-Way Now, an express delivery subsidiary of Ann Arbor, MI-based LTL conglomerate Con-Way Transportation Services. She replaces Ed Conaway, recently promoted to become the new vp-sales for Con-Way as a whole.

Potter, 36, also will be responsible for the overall strategic planning and direction for all the company’s business operations -- Con-Way Now, Con-Way Retail and truckload broker Con-Way Full-Load. She is also going to have day-to-day oversight responsibilities of the marketing, operations, sales, personnel, information technology, administration and accounting functions.

Potter, an original employee of Con-Way Now who joined the then-fledgling company in 1996 as an administrative assistant, reports directly to John Labrie, president of Con-Way’s supply chain services.
