Schefenacker Vision System has announced that its Telescoping Trailer Tow Mirror line will be available for the 2004 model Ford F-150 pickup XL, STX, XLT, FX4 and Lariat models in April. This is the only direct OEM replacement towing mirror is currently available for the F150, the manufacturer said.
The manually telescoping mirrors are capable of up to 4 ½ in. of outward adjustment, allowing drivers to see past loads up to 102 in. wide. The mirrors are available in three choices: manual; electric and heat; and electric, heat and turn signal and clearance lights.
Schefenacker Telescopic Trailer Tow Mirrors are also available for the Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Avalanche and Dodge Ram.
