• Clemson to hold tire conference

    Tire industry conference hosted by Clemson University

    The 21st annual tire industry conference sponsored by Clemson University will include sessions on new truck tire design and technology, as well as updates on retreading and tire recycling. Aimed at tire industry engineers, researchers and marketers, this year’s conference will be held Mar. 9 to 11 in Hilton Head, SC.

    Presenters at the three-day event will include Peggy Fisher, president of Fleet Tire Consulting, Guy Walenga, engineering manager for Bridgestone/Firestone North American Commercial Products, Al Cohn, technical marketing manager for Goodyear Commercial Tires, Tim LaClair, rolling resistance performance engineer for MichelinAmericas Research and Design Corp., and Carson Miller, operations manager for Cooper Tire’s Tire and Vehicle Test Center.
