Here is a look at what is happening in the world of transportation this morning:

• Wisconsin lawmakers are listening to public comments about proposed drug testing bills during a public hearing today, according to Fox 11.

• An ATA member told a Congressional committee strategies needed to address highway crashes and improve truck safety. He cited the ATA’s support for electronic logging devices, electronic stability control and mandatory speed limiters. Furniture Today has more.

• An Oregon woman, who helps her family run Boshart Trucking, has been named the Northwest Farm Mom of the Year by Monsanto, according to Oregonlive.com.

• The Wall Street Journal reports that the Internet of Things is coming to local truck stops. According to the report, Saia LTL Freight began employing internet-enabled technology on its fleet to track maintenance needs, driver safety, fuel usage, and other metrics in real-time.

• Hazardous material that leaked from a tractor-trailer last night shut down part of I-81 in Greene Township, PA, overnight as crews cleaned up, according to Public Opinion News.
