Yokohama Tire Corp. will be awarding $5,000 worth of its new Zenvironment commercial tires to a lucky winner at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS).

Visitors to Yokohama’s booth (#14214) at the show in Louisville, KY, March 25-27, can simply sign up to win eight 703ZL drive tires and two 101ZL steer tires. Free installation and valve stems are included.

The 101ZL, which will be available in October in four sizes (295/75R22.5, 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 285/75R24.5), is a premium steer tire designed for long-haul operations.

The ultra-long mileage 703ZL features one inch tread depth and a solid closed shoulder that provides even wear for more road miles. Other features include an optimum rubber compound for higher mileage and improved cut- and chip-resistance; a funnel-shaped groove wall that is wider at the top for enhanced traction, yet narrows at the bottom to prevent stones and other road debris from traveling to the bottom; and a new base compound to reduce heat buildup.
