David Childers has been named CEO of Compli, a human resource, safety and compliance management software company.

“David brings outstanding credentials to Compli,” said Lon Leneve, president of Compli. “He is a pioneer in the GRC field and has a track record for being one of the most dynamic and innovative individuals in the industry. He has also been an entrepreneur and leader in a variety of successful high technology endeavors. We were focused on finding someone with David’s capabilities and experience as we searched for our next CEO, and I’m thrilled he’s on board. I’m confident that all of us at Compli will benefit from his leadership.”

Prior to joining Compli, Childers was founder & CEO of EthicsPoint.

Childers sits on the Board of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). He is a member of the Ethics & Compliance Officer Assn. (ECOA), the International Assn. of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and the National Assn. of Corporate Directors (NACD).  In addition, Childers is a charter member of the Open Compliance Ethics Group where he has been recognized as an OCEG Fellow. He is a member of the Assn. for Corporate Growth (ACG) and serves as the chairman of the Software Assn. of Oregon (SAO) board.

He was also honored as a finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2010 and 2011.
