Nov. 8, 2013

Kent Jordan has been named president of CRST Logistics, an operating company of privately-held CRST International. CRST Logistics offers third-party logistics services including logistics strategy, transportation management and information management.

Jordan joins the company from Jacobson Transportation Co., part of the Jacobson Holding Companies, where he served as president for the firm, which focused on transportation brokerage, trucking and dedicated fleets. He was also president of Jacobson Logistics Companies in Des Moines, IA.

Prior to Jacobson, Jordan also played a key part in the multi-million dollar global logistics unit for the former GTE supply (General Telephone & Electronics Corp.), now Verizon. His responsibilities were for international, domestic and fleet management teams.

“Kent’s wide-ranging experience in the transportation industry fits nicely with the needs of our logistics operations,” said Dave Rusch, president and CEO of CRST International. “He has extensive expertise in corporate planning and strategy, leadership, multi-site management and high-level customer relationship management. We’re glad to have a professional of his stature joining the CRST team.”
