Key takeaways

  • NationaLease members use their fleets and workforce to support food drives, gift donations, and charity events during the holidays.
  • Community engagement remains a year-round priority, with members supporting youth programs, Special Olympics, and anti-trafficking initiatives.
  • Grassroots giving strengthens local relationships, showing how fleets can build goodwill and visibility through service-focused efforts.

It’s been a challenging year for many, and the holidays can make those challenges even more difficult to manage. That’s why those who take this time to give to others, to help those less fortunate have a happier holiday, set a glowing example for the rest of us.

We are so proud of our NationaLease members who embody generosity and empathy, not just during the holidays but throughout the entire year. Below are just a few of our NationaLease members’ giving efforts, in their own words:

TCI Leasing/Rentals, a NationaLease Member: "One of the organizations we’re proud to support is Bithiah’s Family Services, a Southern California–based, trauma-informed program serving transitional-aged and system-impacted youth. Each year around the holidays, TCI donates Christmas gifts to support its youth, and last week our team delivered the gifts directly to its headquarters. Giving back is an important part of who we are at TCI, and our ongoing support of Bithiah’s Family Services reflects our commitment to being dedicated to the communities we serve.”

Koch NationaLease: Koch NationaLease provides year-round support to organizations and charities that set an example each of us should strive to emulate. “One of our long-standing community partners is the Minnesota Special Olympics Trucking Convoy, an event we’ve proudly participated in for 15 years. Each year, this convoy raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics Minnesota athletes, celebrating inclusion and community spirit. We’re also honored to partner with Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT). Through our driver orientation, we empower our drivers to be vigilant and informed in the fight against human trafficking.”

Mendon NationaLease: “For decades, Mendon has been proud to call the Bronx home. Last Saturday, Mendon celebrated our Bronx Community Day as a small way of giving back to the neighborhood that has supported us for so many years. Despite the freezing temperatures, we shared hot coffee, fresh donuts, and great conversations with our neighbors—and were also glad to donate to a nearby organization doing important work right here in our community. Very cold? Absolutely. Warm hearts? Always.”

Interstate NationaLease: “This holiday season, we partnered with our sister company, Interstate Warehouse Services, to run a multi-branch food drive across our Alabama and Georgia locations. Thanks to the incredible effort and generosity of our teams, we collected just under 15,000 food items to support local food banks and community organizations in the areas we serve. What made this especially meaningful was that it was truly a grassroots effort. Each branch took ownership locally, rallied their teams, and worked directly with organizations in their communities to ensure the donations went where they were most needed.”

Location BL NationaLease: “Again this year, we participated in La Guignolée, loaning free trucks to support this amazing charity, which, through food banks, provides essential food and support for families facing hardship during the holidays. Pioneered in Quebec by the Sociéte de Saint-Vincent de Paul in 1861, it’s now a massive, province-wide effort. But what makes us proudest is the commitment of the heart. Our colleagues who donate their time, energy, and smiles. Those who get on board, without hesitation, because they know it makes a real difference. Thanks to the Food Counter for its impeccable organization. Thank you to all the volunteers, donors, partners…And bravo to all our BL gang, you perfectly embody what we mean when we talk about solidarity.”

This is just a short list of our generous NationaLease member family. For them, and for all of us at NationaLease, we wish everyone the happiest of holidays and a healthy and prosperous New Year!
