    Michelin North America has joined the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) SmartWay Transport Partnership, a national effort to help reduce greenhouse gas and other emissions from ground freight transportation. Michelin North America was recognized for its participation by EPA Administrator Mike Leavitt during a February 9 press event in Washington DC.
