Prime Inc has signed on to TRANSFLO Express, the truckstop scanning service from Pegasus TransTech. In 2002, Transport Topics recognized Prime as the nation's “Best-Run” refrigerated carrier. Prime rank in that magazine's top 10 for best operating ratios.

“The main reason we want to use TRANSFLO Express is to get paperwork here in a more timely fashion and shorten the billing cycle,” said Karen Brigham, Prime director of technology. “We're hoping to reduce days from our billing cycle.”

Brigham said Prime was intent on smoothing out back-office workflow, and eliminating the manual work required to prep, scan, and retrieve paper documents.
