Werner declares dividend for 18 years running

Werner Enterprises Inc's board of directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 2.5 cents per common share payable to stockholders of record April 19, 2004.

Werner Enterprises Inc's board of directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 2.5 cents per common share payable to stockholders of record April 19, 2004. This dividend will be paid May 4, 2004.

The Omaha NE-based truckload carrier is currently in its 18th year of paying quarterly cash dividends on its common stock to its stockholders. Its first quarterly cash dividend was paid in July 1987.

Werner provides truckload and logistics services throughout the 48 states, portions of Canada, and Mexico. It has a fleet of 8,350 trucks and 22,800 trailers as of Dec 31, 2003.
