AmeriQuest, provider of transportation and logistics products and services for fleet management, and National Grocers Association (NGA), representing the independent retail and wholesale food industry, will jointly offer an on-line procurement solution for NGA members and affiliates operating commercial fleets. The service, to be launched in spring 2001, will be based on a web site developed by the two groups and accessible through the NGA site.

The program is offered to retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and service suppliers representing about 40,000 trucks, tractors, and trailers. With these additional units, AmeriQuest says it now has aggregated purchasing power of nearly 10% of the United States' commercial surface fleet.
