Reefer Service Inc of Hudsonville MI was named Carrier Transicold's 2006 North American Dealer of the Year at the company's annual Truck, Trailer, and Rail dealer meeting recently in San Antonio TX. Carrier Transicold is part of Carrier Corp, which is a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Exemplifying the 2007 dealer meeting's theme of “The New Role Models,” Reefer Service wa founded in 1982 and has been a Carrier Transicold dealer for 16 years.

The Michigan dealer marked its 25th anniversary in May. Reefer Service also achieved a NextLevel Perfect Score award, a prerequisite to winning Dealer of the Year, a Quota Buster, and a Triple-Double for achieving double-digit growth in three key areas.

Carrier also recognized Techtrade CA of Valencia, Venezuela, as its Latin American Dealer of the Year. Techtrade, led by Gerardo Santos, also received a NextLevel Perfect Score award and a Double-Double for achieving double-digit growth in two areas.

In all, 42 firms and three individuals from Carrier's North American and Latin American dealer networks were recognized for sales performance, significant investments in facilities, outstanding service, and achievement of objectives.
