DHL Supply Chain recently completed a 1-million-sq.-ft. distribution center of excellence in Annville, Pennsylvania, scheduled to open in 2026. The company, which provides end-to-end logistics solutions, is expanding its life sciences and healthcare capabilities to support the growing demand for temperature-controlled storage and time-sensitive pharmaceutical distribution.
The company, which will operate the facility as a Foreign Trade Zone, enables MedTech and pharmaceutical companies to leverage pre-certification opportunities and streamline coordination with agencies such as the FDA and USDA. Located near Interstates 76 and 81, the site provides multimodal connectivity to handle sensitive biologics, specialty drugs, and critical healthcare shipments efficiently.
The new center features FDA and GMP-compliant infrastructure, advanced temperature-controlled environments, energy-efficient systems with solar power integration, EV charging stations, 100 dock doors, 230 trailer parking stalls, and 250 employee parking spaces.
