Sunswap recently entered into the Latin American market through a distribution partnership with Chilean operator Trailerlogistics. The company, which manufactures battery- and solar-powered transport refrigeration, will bring its Endurance units to Chile to provide zero direct emissions and reduced operating costs for frozen, chilled, and multi-temperature transport.
Chile’s high solar intensity allows panels on the Endurance units to contribute up to 80% of energy needs, reducing reliance on grid charging and lowering operating costs below levels achievable in cloudier regions. Trailerlogistics will provide local expertise, technical support, and aftermarket services to ensure operators have reliable access and maintenance for the technology.
