Electronic Funds Source LLC (EFS) was recently selected to provide a comprehensive, customized payments system for TransAm Trucking Inc. Headquartered in Olathe KS, TransAm is a carrier for temperature-controlled freight with a fleet of more than 1,400 tractors and 2,400-plus trailers.

“We selected EFS because of their vision for future payment technologies for the transportation industry. We see EFS as the company that is going to help TransAm not only sustain our industry-leading position, but also continue to help move us forward,” said Murray Droescher, TransAm chief financial officer.

TransAm moved its entire payments business to EFS, which included fleet cards, cash management functions, data mining, driver payroll distribution, and settlements distribution.

The EFS platform provides TransAm real-time connectivity to transportation software so it has more visibility into transactions as they are happening with dynamic real-time exception reporting. EFS-unique applications allow TransAm to respond immediately via user-defined exception management controls providing more proactive driver feedback, proactive driver interaction, and better financial controls.
