IFDA announces inaugural class of Truck Driver Hall of Fame

Discover who IFDA has named to the inaugural class of its Truck Driver Hall of Fame.

The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) announced the 26 inductees for the inaugural class of the IFDA Truck Driver Hall of Fame.

Since its inception, IFDA has worked tirelessly with its member companies to promote a culture of safety. In addition to the annual IFDA Truck Driving Championship, this program casts a spotlight on the industry’s top drivers for their outstanding records of service and safety. To be eligible for the IFDA Hall of Fame, the driver must have at least 25 years with no chargeable accidents and may not have any moving violations within the previous five years prior to nomination.

Inductees are:

•Alfredo Cardenaz, Ben E Keith Co, San Antonio TX—25 years of service

•Craig Creech, Reinhart Foodservice LLC, Cincinnati OH—45 years of service

•Robert Ehrmann, McLane Foodservice Distribution Inc, Sturtevant WI—35 years of service

•Leslie Fisher, Performance Food Group Customized Distribution, Lebanon TN—30 years of service

•Neil Hammargren, Martin Brothers Distributing Co Inc, Cedar Falls IA—30 years of service
