Decker Truck Line selects Isaac platform to simplify fleet operations
Key takeaways
- Decker consolidates ELD and fleet systems into one platform to reduce tech complexity and improve operational efficiency.
- Drivers tested Isaac tablets in Fort Dodge, giving real-time feedback before full rollout to improve usability and adoption.
- Isaac stood out for integrating with Decker’s existing systems and supporting its specific operational workflows.
Decker Truck Line recently selected Isaac Instruments’ platform to unify its operations on a single fleet management system. The company, which operates a mixed trailer fleet that includes refrigerated units, is consolidating tools and operational data into fewer systems while involving drivers early in the rollout process.
The deployment includes Isaac’s electronic logging device (ELD) and fleet management platform. Decker introduced the system through a hands-on session in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where leadership and drivers previewed the platform, tested Isaac tablets, and provided real-time feedback ahead of full deployment. Drivers and executives evaluated usability together, with participants noting the platform’s intuitive interface and simplified workflows compared to previous systems.
Isaac’s platform was also selected for its ability to integrate with existing systems and adapt to Decker’s operational workflows, supporting the company’s goal of improving efficiency and reducing complexity across its technology stack.
“Technology plays a critical role in the driver experience, and we’re always looking for ways to move Decker forward,” Dale T.L. Decker, CEO and co-owner of Decker Truck Line, stated. “We believe this new platform is an important step toward improving usability, integration, and efficiency across the company.”
