The nation’s advanced-trucking eyes will focus on Baltimore MD in October 2011, when the city hosts the 11th annual Hybrid Truck Users Forum (HTUF) national conference, CALSTART announced.

Set for October 10-13, 2011, at the Baltimore Convention Center, the conference focuses on expanding commercial and military fleet knowledge about leading-edge clean, fuel-saving trucks and buses now built in the United States.

Annually, the conferences draw hundreds of attendees representing fleets, truck makers, technology leaders, and military and government officials. Attendees can kick the tires of the world’s most advanced medium- and heavy-duty vehicles available, take an active role in growing clean tech jobs, and reduce petroleum consumption in the United States.

HTUF was founded by CALSTART and the US Army Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center’s National Automotive Center and is operated by CALSTART under contract to the US Army.
