Great Dane is presenting a variety of innovative trailer products and technological solutions in booth #2252 at Truck World 2014. This event is being held April 10-12, 2014, at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. In keeping with Great Dane’s “Drive Away With More” value proposition, the company’s Truck World 2014 booth will feature interactive displays that allow visitors to get up-close and hands-on with products and innovations, including an Everest Series reefer and a Champion Series dry van. Also included will be interactive kiosk displays highlighting the company’s patented ThermoGuard reefer lining, as well as Great Dane’s exclusive CorroGuard anti-corrosion system and a range of other features. Great Dane will also use the Truck World show to highlight the company’s coast-to-coast network of full-service dealers.
Great Dane show trailers at the event include: 53-foot Everest SS (Super Seal) reefer—This versatile and hard-working lightweight reefer is ideal for truckload operations on demanding Canadian roads. In addition to its standard features, the show trailer includes a stainless steel rear frame, stainless front wall assembly, diamond pattern stainless steel doors, a 1.38" smooth aluminum duct floor with 16,000-lb load rating and all-composite sills, a Hendrickson HKANT 40,000-lb-capacity suspension system, Bendix disc brakes, Transtex MFS aerodynamic side skirts, front and rear vents, and Accuride aluminum disc wheels with AccuShield protective mirror polish finish. The show trailer is also equipped with CorroGuard protective undercoating, and with the company’s patented ThermoGuard liner in the walls, ceiling, floor, and doors—designed to reduce insulation outgassing and moisture intrusion through the trailer’s interior walls. 53-ft Champion CP composite plate dry van—Designed for cubic capacity, cargo protection, and durability, this hard-working model is ideal for a range of cargo applications. It features a full 101" inside width, composite plate side panels with single-punched A-type logistics posts on 48" centers, a 6" aluminum extruded scuffband integrated with the bottom rail, as well as an additional 7" 18-gauge galvanized steel second-row scuffband. Other standard features on the Champion CP include an EnduroGuard rear frame with a stainless steel rear sill, a Hendrickson HKANT 40,000-lb-capacity suspension system, the Stemco Platinum Performance Plus wheel-end system, Grote’s Long-Life 100% LED lighting system including Great Dane’s standard dual-intensity CHMSL brake lights, and Bridgestone Ecopia R197 low-rolling-resistance tires. The show van also features optional Prolam hardwood flooring with WaxIn protective coating, as well as front and rear vents. Access www.greatdanetrailers.com for full information.
