ECCS introduces the new IPlug PDF single-use temperature data logger. Easy to set up and operate, these temperature data loggers alarm your product and automatically generate PDF reports to give to receivers as proof of best practices.

Whether you’re in the food and beverage industry or in pharmaceutical applications, you need a reliable yet affordable cold chain solution to monitor your product in transit.

ECCS introduces the new IPlug PDF single-use temperature data logger. Easy to set up and operate, these temperature data loggers alarm your product and automatically generate PDF reports to give to receivers as proof of best practices. Ideal for use in trucks, refrigerated compartments, and warehouses, these products are available at CAS DataLoggers.

Traveling with product pallets and truck shipments, IPlug PDF loggers continually monitor product while it’s on the go and save drivers the hassle of having to stop and take manual temperature measurements. A built-in USB interface makes connection to a PC for downloading data a snap so you don’t need a USB driver.

The IPlug PDF data logger monitors the temperature of its environment at a range of –40° to +65° C. It takes measurements at an accuracy of 0.3° C and resolution of 0.1° C. This logger is compact and lightweight for easy placement and retrieval (dimensions: 73x15x33 mm, weight 30 grams). The Start and Stop buttons simplify operation for new users.

With a large 8,000-point memory capacity (encrypted) and a 60-day/user-programmable duration, the data logger is ideal for extended trips. It is also EN 12830—CE—RoHs compliant and is fully recyclable.

The logger’s High and Low Alarm LED indicator lets users know if there has been a temperature excursion at any point in the trip. Users can select alarm settings and temperature sampling rate (default is once every 10 minutes). This logger also features Auto-PDF file generation, convenient for giving the entire temperature documentation to receivers.

Using the manufacturer’s web portal, users can enter the serial number of their IPlug PDF and see if it has been downloaded by the receiver. If the receiver has selected the “Send to the Web” feature while reading the device, the user will get instant access to the temperature report.

IPlug PDF dataloggers are also available in a Pharma version supporting online calibration so users can go online and view calibration info by serial number.
