Rear View Safety, a Clarience Technologies brand, recently launched its LedgeAlert AI system. The company, which develops AI-powered safety solutions for commercial vehicles, designed LedgeAlert AI to detect and warn users of potential falls before they occur, improving situational awareness for drivers handling all types of trailers, including refrigerated units.
The system activates audio and visual alerts when a person enters a customizable warning zone, tailored to a vehicle’s size and cargo capacity. Lighting and alarm options are also adjustable. As a standalone product, LedgeAlert AI protects drivers and crew during critical moments and integrates with Rear View Safety’s video monitors to add recording capabilities for manager review.
