• Blu. fueling stations to accept all fleet fueling cards

    June 25, 2014

Blu., an operator of liquefied natural gas (LNG) refueling stations and provider of LNG technology solutions, has partnered with Comdata to manage card payments at its fueling stations nationwide. The new system, which will accept all fleeting fueling cards and most major credit cards, is now in operation at all Blu. LNG stations.

The Comdata SmartSight point-of-sale system provides a direct interface between the fuel dispenser (the pump) and the point-of-sale system and eliminates the third-party controller, which increases efficiency and reliability and lowers costs. In addition to accepting payments, the new Comdata SmartSight systems will provide real-time data and automatic email notifications to enable Blu. technicians to remotely monitor and manage fueling sites.

“This partnership with Comdata helps set Blu. apart within the LNG fueling industry,” Blu. CEO Merritt Norton said. “By accepting all major credit cards, as well as fleet cards, our fueling stations are able to match that aspect of the diesel fueling experience, increasing convenience and efficiency for our customers.”
