FMCSA reinstates CI ELD LOGS

Dec. 11, 2023
CV Options’ electronic logging device was recently removed from the approved list, but FMCSA has reinstated it.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association reinstated the CI ELD LOGS on Dec 8.

FMCSA removed the ELD from its list the previous week due to failure to meet the minimum requirements outlined by the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, but it was recently reinstated.

It can now be used again to record and transfer hours of service data. Nine other ELDs revoked last week have not been reinstated yet.
