TMW Systems added 90 new North American clients and hired 41 employees during the first half of 2008, as its fuel optimization software grew more than 52% compared to the same period in 2007, the company announced.

“We are observing a trend where companies that had invested in other systems have outgrown them,” said David W. Wangler, TMW president & CEO. “They are replacing them because of inadequate performance and scalability. To their advantage, companies are doing their homework, and then selecting TMW, especially now that the economic stakes are higher and the business challenges are greater.”

The company’s business lines include TMW Enterprise Transportation Software (ETS), TMW Asset Maintenance Software (AMS), TMW Optimization Software, TMWSuite and TruckMate. The company also offers IDSC ExpertFuel, IDSC TripAlert, IDSC MatchAdvice and IDSC Netwise, added when TMW acquired Integrated Decision Support Corp. last year.
