Mountain Valley Express upgrades TMS with Carrier Logistics FACTS to improve LTL operations

Carrier Logistics recently announced that Mountain Valley Express has implemented its FACTS freight management software across 13 terminals supporting 300 tractors and 500 trailers.

“We chose Carrier Logistics to support our aggressive growth goals,” Lizette Guajardo, senior manager of customer experience at Mountain Valley Express, said. “The legacy TMS we were using did not have the automated integrations, reporting, and customer self-service and visibility tools we needed. After looking at a number of systems, we chose CLI FACTS because it was a complete solution and the right system for our future.”

Since going live, Mountain Valley Express has used FACTS to process 2,500 freight bills daily, cutting planning and dispatching time from eight to as few as three hours per day. In addition, the system includes a customer-facing portal, dock management, appointment scheduling, and multiple integrations, with CLI providing training and support to ensure a smooth implementation.

Aperia launches Nearby Issues feature to improve tire maintenance for fleet technicians

Aperia Technologies has launched Nearby Issues, a new Halo Connect feature that helps technicians locate and resolve tire problems using real-time location data. Available in the Halo Tech App, it displays nearby trucks with tire issues and enables quick, on-site repairs.

“Technicians don’t need more alerts; they need the right insights at the right time,” Ralph Dimenna, CCO at Aperia Technologies, said. “Nearby Issues gives them a faster, smarter way to prioritize and resolve tire problems based on where they are, closing the gap between knowing an issue exists and getting it fixed.”

The feature allows technicians to prioritize repairs by severity, view live tire data, and access vehicle histories and GPS navigation tools. Learn more…

EpicVue expands EpicWiFi with 5G and LTE backup to improve in-cab connectivity for fleets

EpicVue recently enhanced its EpicWiFi in-cab connectivity solution with 5G, LTE backup, and WiFi 6, delivering 225 GB of data per month for fleets and drivers. The plug-and-play system supports streaming, live TV, communication, and IoT applications while withstanding the rigors of the road.

“EpicWiFi was built for life on the road,” Lance Platt, CEO of EpicVue said. “Most fleet data plans cover only minimal usage, but EpicVue provides 225 GB of data per month for just $59 per truck, enabling fleets to run live TV, cameras, and other high-demand applications without worry. This puts us in a unique position to enable the truly connected truck, helping fleets consolidate services and reduce costs across multiple connections.”

The service is fully managed, easy to install, and available standalone or bundled with EpicVue+ for entertainment and driver engagement, with flexible pricing options to reduce upfront costs. Learn more…
