Carrier Logistics recently integrated the CLI Rate Engine with FFE Transportation Services’ existing transportation management system (TMS) to improve rating accuracy and enhance customer satisfaction. The company, which provides freight management software for the logistics industry, said the integration is designed to simplify load rating and reduce administrative complexity.
FFE previously faced challenges with its existing rate engine, including difficulty verifying rates, producing accurate invoices based on tariffs and contracts, and rating loads by region, state, lane, or ZIP code. The company also lacked visibility into pricing that was loaded.
The integration automates rating for 99% of customers, improving invoicing accuracy and reducing administrative time. FFE operates 18 terminals nationwide and is the largest asset-based refrigerated LTL carrier in the U.S.
