International Truck & Engine Corp.'s cross-country truck tour made its first stop at U.S. Cellular field in Chicago June 29-30.

Called “Taking it to the Streets,” the 20-truck tour will continue throughout the summer and fall, with stops in seven additional cities in the U.S. and Canada.

The two-day events include ride-and-drives, special financing and warranty opportunities, a tools competition and sweepstakes.

Experts on engines, financing, used trucks, and parts and service will be available.

Scheduled stops include the following:

  • July 13-14 — New York City at Nassau Veteran's Memorial Coliseum;

  • July 27-28 — Toronto at Downsview Hangar;

  • Aug. 10-11 — Washington D.C. at FedEx Field;

  • Aug. 31 to Sept. 1 — Atlanta at Georgia International Convention Center;

  • Sept. 21-22 — San Francisco at SBC Ballpark;

  • Oct. 5-6 — Los Angeles at the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center;

  • Oct. 19-20 — Dallas at Texas Motor Speedway.
