Jasper releases remanufactured GM engines

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is offering remanufactured late-model General Motors 5.3L V8 engines for several vehicles.

The engines are available for 2010-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche, Tahoe, Suburban, Colorado and Express vehicles as well as GMC Yukon, Canyon and Savana models. It is also available for the Hummer H3.

Remanufactured to strict, high-quality processes, Jasper engines offer the following features;

  • Installed and 100% tested VVT (variable valve timing) gear
  • Jasper utilizes a tighter piston-to-wall clearance to prevent “cold piston slap”
  • Cylinder heads are pressure tested to ensure quality
  • Latest-design OE lifters are installed to reduce lifter noise
  • 100% new head bolts are installed to ensure proper clamp load

Each engine is covered by a 3-year/100,000-mi. nationwide transferable parts and labor warranty.
