Inland Truck Parts expands to Shreveport

Inland Truck Parts & Service is expanding its reach into Louisiana with its acquisition of Consolidated Truck Parts and Service of Shreveport.

Inland Truck Parts & Service announced it is expanding its reach into Louisiana through its recent acquisition of Consolidated Truck Parts and Service of Shreveport. According to the company, this location has 10 years of history servicing and selling quality truck parts in the northern Louisiana area.

"This acquisition will allow us to better serve the east Texas market that includes Tyler and Longview, plus allows us entry into the NW Louisiana market area,” according to Inland's CEO Greg Klein. “Consolidated will retain ownership of its Monroe, Alexandria, and Many locations."

"We are very excited for the opportunity to serve the Shreveport market" said Tony Rowles, general manager at the new location. "Inland's employee ownership model is great at building employees with a strong commitment to taking care of customers." Though the store is currently located at 1060 Grimmett Drive in Shreveport, Inland mentioned it is making plans to secure land in the West Shreveport area along I-20 to allow for a newer, larger facility with a projected build date in 2019.

"I'd like to thank our clients who have allowed us to serve as their provider of custom service solutions over the last decade," says Rudy Niswanger, CEO of Joe Gear Companies and the seller of Shreveport Consolidated. "We are proud to be transitioning our employees and operations to Inland Truck Parts, as they are a company we have a great deal of respect for."
